Landscape By Design (LBD) Landscape By Design (LBD), co-ordinate Flood Risk Assessment (F.R.A) works within their overall brief in accordance with Planning Policy Statement PS225 (England) and TAN15 (Wales). Topographical Survey data is required initially in accordance with Environment Agency Guidelines and can be provided by us. LBD work with their preferred expert Engineers in order that Planning Authorities and the Environment Agency are consulted early to agree flood risks and any subsequent mitigation measures required. LBD may charge a small fee for co-ordinating these works which are indemnified and carried out by the Engineers. LBD have experience in sustainable drainage and how this can sometimes benefit the landscape and may have some involvement in the drainage system and design to be adopted. The Engineers would draw up detailed drainage designs and calculations however, to ensure flood risk issues are properly dealt with and any subsequent adoption issues are met.
