Garden Design
A tree-lined street can increase property values by 10%.
A well designed garden can increase property values up to 5%.
The Garden Design Process
Stage 1: Meet client and discuss aspirations and budget.
Stage 2: Agree a outline design fee and rough budget for the garden.
Stage 3: Carry out a brief survey and draw up a sketch proposal.
At this stage the client can take the design and proceed at their own risk, or ask us for a price to build the garden to the agreed design. This will often require further detailed designs for decking, walling, planting etc which forms part of the build cost. For large projects a full service and percentage fee of the overall project cost may be charged.
The designer is usually required to check the contractor’s setting out and visit occasionally to ensure problems are overcome in a sensitive way. Last minute changes can be incorporated so as not to detract from the overall design.
Designers: members of Society Of Garden Designers, Landscape Institute and Listed Property Owners Club.
