Landscape By Design has been involved in various commercial, manufacturing, warehouse and business park developments. The landscaping here forms a key aspect of the planning process, as the buildings are usually substantial and require adequate screening.
Sustainable urban drainage (SUDS), including balancing ponds and swales are becoming a common requirement and can enhance the quality of the landscape. Landscape By Design can work alongside Engineers to ensure that noise bunds, acoustic fencing and hydrology are considered as part of the landscape design process.

Acoustic fencing, noise bunds and screen planting are often required to screen large buildings. Building surrounds and car parking are also incorporated into schemes with appropriate landscaping.
